Council set to sell off green land in Tadworth

A PARCEL of green land is set to be sold off for housing.Reigate and Banstead Borough Council's executive decided on Thursday whether to dispose of the land, off Merefield Gardens in Tadworth.It is adjacent to the former De Burgh School playing fields site, where outline planning permission for 180 homes has been granted.If councillors go ahead with officers' recommendations, the patch of land will be sold to London Square Developments for an undisclosed fee.Council officer Steve McLeodsaid in...
