Dorking family photograph turtle in Ashtead pond

A family were given a shock at Ashtead Pond today, when what appeared to be a small turtle started to snap up bread intended for ducks.Steve Chester, along with his three sons and partner, was feeding the ducks at Ashtead duck pond, off Barnett Wood Lane, when the group caught sight of a shell moving across the water.Mr Chester, a Dorking resident, told the Mirror: "It looked like a still log in the water but then I noticed it was moving."As I kept throwing bread it swam back towards...
