A fire that gutted and completely destroyed a Horley bungalow on New Year's Eve is believed to have been started deliberately. The property, in Haroldslea, was devastated by the blaze, which began at around 3pm on New Year's Eve and raged until late in the afternoon on New Year's Day. Fire crews from Salfords, Godstone, Reigate, Lingfield and Crawley were all called to the derelict home and a police investigation has been launched, with arson suspected.
