Hundreds of homes and businesses in Outwood were left without power for nearly 14 hours on Thursday due to the damaged power cable that forced the closure of the M23.UK Power Networks have confirmed that power was lost in the Outwood area between 3.11am and 4.55pm while engineers worked to repair the cable.The power outage also forced businesses in the village to shut while the power was restored.
