Up to 40 teenagers from Howard of Effingham school have been praised for their "exemplary" behaviour after a stranger asked them all to stop what they were doing and observe a one minute silence for the Manchester bombing victims.Effingham resident James Nicholls, 59, was in the Loolabells café on the King George V Playing Fields at 11am yesterday when he asked "around 30-40" students from the school in Lower Road to observe the national silence.
