A food hygiene inspector has described a Chinese takeaway in Merstham as "one of the worst" premises he has ever visited. When Kirk Holmes visited Lee Garden earlier this year he found it "absolutely filthy". According to an inspection report, grease was running down light fittings and out of cracks in the ceiling. Decayed food was found, including a cheese slice covered in blue/green mould that was stuck to a cut aubergine, and fruit and vegetables covered in mould...
