Police clamping down on selfish drivers who ignore lane closure...

There are few things as annoying on the M25 as drivers who seem to think that lane closures don't apply to them. While most drivers queue patiently for miles in the lanes that remain open, others speed past - ignoring the giant red crosses on gantries over the motorway which indicate that these lanes are closed off further ahead. They then sneak - or in some cases almost barge - into a small gap further up the road to avoid having to sit in the queue that everyone else has been subjected to....
