The closure of the Wow Gallery in Dorking on Friday (August 18) has been described as "the end of an era" by people in the town. Many people have lamented the loss of the South Street shop which specialised in selling handmade art and crafts items and shut its doors for good on Friday (August 18). Owner Caroline Salmon, who is also president of the Dorking Chamber of Commerce, took the decision to close after 10 years due to a continuing drop in footfall but the business is not gone...
